About Me

I am a licensed Psychotherapist practicing in NYC. I attended the Columbia University School of Social Work Clinical program with a focus in Child and Adult Psychopathology.  My private practice is located in the Downtown Brooklyn Heights area.

I completed my Graduate Clinical training in a two year practicum at The Institute for Community Living Adult Mentally Ill and Chemically Addicted Day Treatment Program in East NY, Brooklyn. As well as the New York Presbyterian Hospital Allen Pavillion Adult In Patient Psychiatric Unit in Upper Manhattan.  I also completed three years of Clinical Practice hours toward my Clinical Social Work liscensure at Bellevue Hospital on an Adult Acute Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, and The Brooklyn Center for Psychotherapy in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

I have worked with patients representing a wide array of cultural, socioeconomic, age, sex/gender and racial identifications. I provide individual psychotherapy to adults, couples and teenagers who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, self-doubt, or un-certainty about where they are in life. I have a strong focus on targeting negative thinking patterns and unhealthy behaviors.

I will always listen to you with out judgement and support you with a warm and attentive presence. My therapeutic approach is Person Centered, drawing from Psychodynamic, Insight Oriented, Mindfulness Based - Cognitive Behavioral, Stress Management practices, and Whole Person Systems Perspectives. Together we will work as a team, building on your strengths as you work on improving your life and relationships to live a fuller, more satisfying life!

Finally, I am a Certified Clinical Supervisor  affiliated with the Hunter College School of Social Work, where I earned SIFI Certification in Clinical Supervision Instruction for Graduate students.

I look forward to working with you.

Sincerely,
